Through A Glass Darkly...

I'm so excited! My son & I went to the eye doctor yesterday and got contacts!! My vision is a bit wonky until I get used to them but it's wonderful to be free of those granny spectacles. Immediately after getting glasses (2 years ago) I felt like I was behind a screen or something. Colors didn't look as vibrant to me, everything seemed just a shade darker (they say it was my frames - but those frames were dang cute), My fabrics didn't seem as pretty, etc. It's such a blessing to see things as they are again! "For now we see through a glass, darkly..."
I apologize over and over to those of you that purchased from the website on Saturday. I'm shipping all the orders out today - I promise! Yesterday, after all the exams and poking fingers in my eyes, I avoided the computer lest I got "car sick" from trying to stay focused.

I'm so glad everyone seems to like the Friday Flea Market idea!! I think it's going to be soooo much fun. I took advantage of my time away from the computer yesterday and got some things ready for Friday. I apologize if there are some quirks here and there with the keepandshare site, but let me know as you come across them and I'll try to get things working as smoothly as possible. I added a little bit more direction for our sellers in the hopes that it'll be helpful. Feel free to email me if you have questions.

Oh, before I forget... My 6 word MEME... Only Daughter's Birthday Is On Easter (and believe me, she's counting down the days... and making all the rest of us count them too!). That photo was from Summer, 2006. Look at luscious warmth!! I'm unbelievably on pins and needles for sunshine, green grass, flowers and my back porch!!

  6. I got my first contacts back in 1972. I was to increase wearing time by an hour every few days and it took about a month for my eyes to get used to them. I was so happy to have them though.
