Sleep Study

Mr. Blessing and I had a huge fight! AND I snore. In fact, I think that might be why we had a big fight. Sometimes I find him sleeping in other rooms... and it makes me mad! He says he doesn't want to disturb my sleep... but it still makes me mad. Victorian ladies - even ones that wear blue jeans & live in farmhouses - are not supposed to snore!

We made up, of course. Because he's too "McWonderful" for me to stay mad at him. But still! We have 4 kids and have been married more than a decade. How long has he been sneaking around, sleeping without me and being so stinking considerate? And what reasonable explanation is there that THIS is what pushes my button? None I tell you. It's not reasonable to be mad at someone for being considerate. Darn it.

  3. Hehehe, my Mr. Wonderful snores like a bear. I (not so elegantly) refer to it as snot-gurgle-snoring because it just sounds so unreasonable. At times I am without a doubt sure he is going to slurp his pillow right up. I found amazing peace for both of us in nose strips...but we won't talk about the little wrappers winding up on the bathroom floor. That's a whole other topic ;) And for the record, he recorded me snoring and played it back so I haven't a nose to stand on (giggle).

    Hugs,

  6. It's not really comforting to know I'm not the only one that has that problem (snoring, however so softly). Except, Mr.Romantic gives me a little jiggle to get me to turn over, with my permission of course. But, what I want to know it how long has my snoring has been going on. I'm sticking to the policy don't ask, don't tell.
    You always make me smile,Polly!

  7. Mr. Celestial Charms breaks the sound barrier with his snoring. Funny, it doesn't bother me when I'm sleeping, but it drives me crazy when I'm watching TV in bed, and can only hear every other word in between snores. What a considerate hubby you have!

  8. Okay, this is it... I'll admit it, I snore too (but so does Shayne and Zeke for that matter), guess it's a house of snorers here. How nice Mr. Blessings will move to the other room without waking you up. I think you deserve a little snoring after all your hard work on Porch magazine ;)

  11. Sooo funny ...I snore like a bull elephant .. at least that's what my Mr. Wonderful says ... but I believe him cuz I've even woke myself up ...LOL ... and yes ... I have left the bed many times so I could get some sleep on the couch cuz of his snoring ... We must really sound great when we are both sleeping ...lol
I don't care if he hears me snore but I do think about it when we have house guests or I am sleeping at someone elses house. :^(
    ps...Love your blog.
