There's something about January & February that make me feel like I'm living in a bottle. At the first sign of cold weather here in the Midwest, we all love to snuggle up by the fire and be cozy. But by now we're all getting a little cabin fever! And now is when the bitter cold really falls upon us.
In order to keep the kids busy and to keep from pulling our hair out, here at the Blessings farmhouse we've resorted to board games.

I've never been a board games kinda gal. I'm the wierd one at family gatherings that doesn't like to play charades or banana-grams or telephone. But I DO like my kids and they are having so much fun!
It's precious time in bottle.
You are brillant! What a great idea for silver Sunday....I remember those pieces well! Happy SS!

I'm really not a "game person" either but it would be fun with those game pieces. Happy Silver Sunday.

What a fun presentation, how clever to use the game board pieces. Yes, I am getting cabin fever too and am anxious for lawn sales to start...... months from now, when the snow is finally gone. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely silver pieces. My brother and I used to play monopoly for hours on end because that's how long it took to finish one game. :) Do they still make silver game pieces? Seems that everything is plastic these days. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Tammy
