Truth Revealed

At the risk of losing viewers, I MUST pass this along.

  1. Do we live according to Oprah and Ms Williamson and their small minds and intellects. For human minds are too small to comprehend the almighty eternal God.

There is a wonderful book called, Is you god to small?
If being good got us to heaven, there is no way God would have sent His son to pay the price for my sin and that of the world. So simple, yet so complex. He died in my place. God's love for me and his Justice against evil met at the cross and salvation, eternal salvation became available to all who will accept that Jesus on the cross paid my punishment.

Why would you take the risk of being judged on the best you can be when the sinless Son of God paid the judgement price for you..

  2. I just discovered your blog (thru the Feathered Nest) a couple of days ago, and I LOVE IT!!! How refreshing to find a blog where a sister Believer is not afraid to just be herself and share from her heart. Blessings, Linda S.

  3. Polly I am glad you posted this. Our adult bible class was just discussing who might be considered a false prophet these days and Oprahs name came up! Think about the power and influence this woman has and the ramifications of this type of proclamation from her. Oprah has reached a point where she thinks she knows everyting and isnt afraid to sway people with the power she holds. "But what does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul?"

  4. Adding to what Kathleen said...to whom much is given, much is required...and Oprah...giving cash and THINGS isn't only what our Lord was talking about!

  5. Praising the Lord for your courage! My heart is so sad that one with so much influence and opportunity is leading so many down the wide path that leads to destruction.

  6. Polly, I heard this the other day and I was horrified. I will NEVER watch Oprah again. She just has too much money and power. But oh how she is missing out. There is only one way and that is through Jesus his son. Thank you for posting this today. And the comment about Oprah being a false prophet, I agree, also Obama. People are being fooled. Oh oh, I might have just stepped on some toes there, oh well.....this is a free country and I will express how I feel. I love JESUS and will shout it from the rooftop. He saved me.

I believe we truly have entered the last days.

    Bless you Polly.

    Hugs,
    LeAnn :)

  8. Thanks Polly for putting this out there for us - I had heard this and that about what Oprah is up to these days, but hadn't heard her views so clearly as this - yikes!! What is so scary is how *reasonable* it seems to sound and how *small minded* she makes out Believers to be _ I fear for all those who walk blindly down this path. Thanks for the wake-up call - the TRUTH will set us free!! Jesus, help us shine for You in this generation of darkness!!

I appreciate you Polly -thanks again!

    Hugs and Blessings,
    Becky S.

  9. Thank you Polly for exposing Opra's remarks!! And so~~

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1 John 4:3

And now, little chidren, abide in him; that. when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

  11. Great post & awesome comments! We should all add Oprah to our prayer list ~ she is very influential and many people pull her away from the truth. What a witness she could be if she would only open her heart to Jesus!!

  12. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Isa: 53:7

He opened not His mouth so that we would have the freedom to do so.....

You were purchased with a price and you were given the freedom to speak what the Father speaks to your heart......... You have made the Father God smile..........

That is the very reason He came and died............ it makes my heart smile.........

  15. Jesus drank the cup so that we might live eternally. "If you know in your heart that Jesus is Lord and confess with thy mouth...

    I loved what Denise said:

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Isa: 53:7

He opened not His mouth so that we would have the freedom to do so.....
    and it is so...

A wonderful post. Many need to have their eyes opened if they wish to enter the Kingdom.

  16. I just found your blog and I love it. It is so wonderful to find so many Christian sisters! I have felt a check in my spirit many times in the past with all the "New Age" type books that Oprah recommends. I just had never heard her state it so clearly. It's sad that she is influencing so many people down the wrong path with her untruths that she makes sound so "reasonable". I will definitely be praying for Oprah and our country! God bless you for posting this! Victoria Lynn

  17. This is making the rounds quickly and as well as it should be. People need to be informed and sad to say, there are many that aren't getting truth in their churches. No one wants to step on toes.......

  18. I saw this clip last week. We need to pray, ladies. Far too many will follow her without ever questioning this new age junk. I pray that she'll have a Saul on the road to Damascus conversion.

  19. Alright I confess! You got me at Denise's when you said you thought you might be flooded with hate mail. I "smelled" controversy and had to check it out for myself. This scene looks very familiar. It's an offer that was rejected by Jesus and accepted by Oprah. You know, when He was led into the wilderness and was tempted by Satan. Satan offered Jesus the world and doesn't it appear to you that Oprah fell for that offer, hook, line and sinker? No hate mail from me. However, I am curious too as to why your mom would collect picket.

  20. Eph 5:6-7
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them.

Oprah's name comes from the Hebrew and means "Runaway". I think it safe to say that she has "Runaway" from the truth.

  24. OH MY, POLLY! Thank you so much for sharing this. I hadn't seen it, but that is the most frightening thing I've seen out of Oprah yet.

That was almost unreal. Frightening days we are living in.

  25. I am so thankful to see all these Christain women taking a stand for our Lord and savior. "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven."
    Matthew 10:32-33

  27. MY Attorney

After living what I felt was a "decent" life, my time on earth
    came to the end.

The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting room of what I thought to be a court house.

The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat by the defense table.

As I looked around I saw the "prosecutor." He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared! at me. He definitely was the most evil person
    I have ever seen.

I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney,
a kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to me, I felt I knew Him.

The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full
    flowing robes.

He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room I
couldn't take my eyes off of Him.
As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, "Let us begin."

    The prosecutor rose and said,
"My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this man belongs in hell."

He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole,
and In the past when I cheated others.

    Satan told of other horrible
Perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, ! the further down in my seat I sank.

I was so embarrassed that I couldn't look at anyone, even my own Attorney, as the Devil told of sins that even I had completely
    forgotten about.

As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about
me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not
Offering any form of defense at all.

I know I had been guilty of those things, but I had done some
good in my life -- couldn't that at least equal out part of the harm
    I'd done?

Satan finished with a fury and said, "This man belongs in hell,
he is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person who can prove otherwise."

When it was His turn, My Attorney first asked if He might approach the bench.

The Judge allowed this over the strong objection of Satan,
and beckoned Him to come forward.

As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in His full splendor and majesty.

I realized why He seemed so familiar; this was Jesus
representing me, my Lord and my Savior.

He stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge, "Hi, Dad," and then He turned to address the court.

"Satan was correct in saying that this man had sinned, I won't deny any of these allegations.

And, yes, the wage of sin is death, and this man deserves to be
punished." Jesus took a deep breath and turned to His Father
with outstretched arms and proclaimed, "However, I died on
the cross so that this person might have eternal life
and he has accepted Me as his Savior, so he is Mine."

My Lord continued with, "His name is written in the
book of life and no one can snatch him from Me.

Satan still does not understand yet. This man is not to be given justice, but rather
    mercy."

As Jesus sat down, He quietly paused, looked at His Father and said, "There is nothing else that needs to be done. I've done it all."

The Judge lifted His mighty hand and slammed the gavel down. The following words bellowed from His lips.. "This man is free."

The penalty for him has already been paid in full. Case dismissed."

As my Lord led me away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving,
"I won't give up, I will win the next one." I asked Jesus as He gave
me my instructions where to go next, "Have you ever lost a case?"
    Christ lovingly smiled and said,
"Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me to represent them
has received the same verdict as you, ~PAID IN FULL!!!!~

Thank you so much for your post! I admire your stand! I am so happy that I don't have to rely on my good works and that JESUS paid the price for my sins. It is so awesome to know that someday I will stand before the throne of God and I will hear "Paid in Full!"
    Blessings~ Saralee

  29. Polly I have heard so much about her talk radio show, and the book about miracles. Oprah is definitely off her rocker on this. Can you tell me when the YouTube video was made that is on the clip on your blog? The hairstyles of the ladies seem old, and I wonder how long she has embraced her thoughts. Her money, and good actions (as she and many others claim) will NOT get her to heaven, and many who do not accept Him here, will certainly know He is the only way one day, maybe a day too late. Please continue to stand firm in your faith, as He has called us to do.

  30. I wondered if anyone would blog about this. I just watched it today. I stopped watching Oprah a couple of years ago, because I was just tired of her and thought she was going way off of her Christian upbringing and confusing her audience. I think it is interesting that she took offense in her 20s to the Lord saying, "I am a jealous God." The fact that she took this to mean something restricting rather than something loving and righteous because He has a plan for us and created us to fellowship with Him shows that she saw life in Christ filled with rules rather than freedom. I pray that she is able to hear the Holy Spirit again and come to know Christ personally and know who she is in Him, what blessings He has allowed her, and be an example of one who is lost and then found. The YouTube clip reminded me of what my SIL told me years ago - New Age philosophy requires you to empty your mind (leaving it open to false doctrines), while Christ wants you to fill your mind with his Word.
