Friday Flea Market

Flea Market Items are below but I have to share this first...
The artist who inspires me most has died! Father, why?? He begged you! He begged that you'd let him live...

And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.

Why, Why, Why??? If I had been there, I would have sobbed "Why". But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Now he'll never reach all the people he hoped would be touched by his work! The "political" people never understood his vision and they were always trying to hush him, hide his work from the public. His mission is incomplete. And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Three Days! Imagine the changes He could make in Three Days...

  10. So moving Polly...I felt a shudder as I read your words. How easy it is to forget what he did for us...I am so thankful to have been, in this moment, reminded.

  11. Thank you for posting this video. I am a Christian but I have not had the courage to watch this movie yet. I even bought it when it was first released. It has never been unwrapped. I think I will watch it today.
    Happy Easter!

  13. Polly:

Alice from Painted White brought this to my attention. In our home, we started a tradition 3 years ago that we watch the Passion of the Christ every Good (Holy) Friday. Although I've been a believer for 30+ years, I want to always remember that He would have done this for me if I was the only person on earth.
Although I can't humanly fathom that, in my heart I know it's true. Amazing love . . . that He would shed His blood for me!
Thanks for sharing this with us.

    In Him,
    Jim's Patty
