Loves me... Loves me not...

"Tell them I love them", he said. That was the single thought resounding in my mind as I drifted off to sleep last night. "Tell them I love them", he said plainly. "Is that all? Isn't there something else I could say?", I pleaded. How could that be the one and only thing? There should be more? Maybe, I thought, I'll just elaborate a bit when the time comes... because surely he meant for me to relay more. "Tell them that I love them", he insisted.
