This is only a test...Had this been a real emergency...

For any of you that may be interested in changing your blogger template, I now have just enough experience with the system that I can confidentally say, "Don't touch anything!" And I would like to further that statement with, "Pay someone! Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Do not mess with the HTML, XML, BLT's, NFL, or anything that requires an acronymn!" (Inspired by Esther). If you missed the post before my "Uh OH", you can take a look here. And now I have a funny looking icon here in Blogger that is apparently used to write in Hindi. I don't know what that is but if my blog should suddenly appear to be written in arabic, you'll know that I've crossed over to Hindi. This is the message at the bottom of my post window right now: Does कि (your browser's rendering) look like (the correct rendering) ... HUH?

I'm still shaking the cobwebs out my head from all the Blogger Support "threads" that I was forced to encounter last night but the good news is that I was able to reconstruct my sidebar so it got a bit of a facelift. =) I'm thanking my stars that I didn't lose the entire blog. Many, many unfortunate souls wandering out there in cyberblogforidiotsland have not been able to recover their blogs and some have had to completely start over. I don't care to be a sojourner in that land again for quite some time!

Mitch is doing well though he has not yet returned to school. Hives, overall just not quite himself, etc. but I think he'll be back to normal soon. Well I must go work on ebay listings for tomorrow.
Have a snuggly weekend...

  5. I mess with my HTML, the secret is to highlight the HTML code, copy and paste it into a word document so you can have a backup copy of your blog in case you mess up. Glad your son is doing better:>)

  6. I don't mess with the codes either. I am so clueless about that stuff. I am so glad you got it back though. Glad to hear your son is still improving.

  9. I made the mistake of trying to change my layout once and it messed everything up. Never again unless I actually know what I am doing. So glad to hear that your son is doing better. By the way, what is that wonderful thing on the top of your pile in the picture on the bottom with the quilts etc. Is it a bedspread? It looks gorgeous!
