Painted Ladies, I mean toyboxes

I saw this booth in Galena and it got me thinking...
Then Kari & Kijsa posted photos today of some darling children's furniture. That's it! I was on the hunt for a bunch of old pictures. You may remember that Counting Your Blessings started out years ago as babyHood. We did a lot of handmade kids clothing and hand painted furniture. So... I dug out some photos. Some of these are mine and some are another local artist that's extremely talented.


Just had to find those photos - it was like a frenzied man-hunt around here today! I tore the place up. However, I found lots of things that I've been looking for ever since we moved! Somebody needs to organize all those boxes in the basement...

  3. Hi Polly....I LOVE painted furniture...I have two NAKED oak stools at my kitchen island that are just begging for me to paint them....I am thinking ROOSTERS or something Americana....not sure! I am playing catch up and I did enjoy all of your recent posts!

  5. Oh Polly, that painted porch swing is incredible and painted children's chairs are always so precious.

    BTW if you find someone to organized the boxes in your basement, could you send them my way when they are finished LOL!
