No Fence, No Gate

I finally got around to changing the back porch from a Summer porch to an Autumn porch. Yesterday was 80 degrees and today is 50 degrees! I guess today it's Fall =) We're so busy today with homeschool co-op stuff that I have to make this short. But I had to tell you this quick little story...

I've been frantically searching for something this morning!! I'll post about the reasons for my hunt tomorrow because I'm in such a rush that I don't have time to gather my thoughts and make it all sensible. But in the middle of tearing apart the house looking for this one particular item, I came across a few things that I've been looking for over the last couple of years. This was my favorite book when I was a little girl. Click on the photo to enlarge it so that the words are large enough to read. Is it any wonder I have such a fasination with my back porch??!

    I love the autumn porch, although I really liked the roses of the summer porch.

    Fall finally arrived here today also, at least for now.
