Happy Harvest! We don't celebrate Halloween at our house. I know, I'm horridly old fashioned. Tonight instead of trick-or-treating, at our house we'll have a scavenger hunt and friends staying the night... lots of candy... and a time to be thankful for a harvest of blessings! Amongst those blessings, for me, is the the Friday Flea Market and all the wonderful gals that I get to talk and shop with. Below (and above) are a few items from my Friday Flea Market. Psssst... YOUR magazine is almost here! Just a few more days...
I'm not much for halloween either. I think a scavenger hunt and a sleep over sound fabulous! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the porcelain doll form!
Happy Harvest to you and yours Polly! Sounds like a fun night ahead!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the new issue...the cover is super cute!
Our 'halloween' celebration is spent listening to Christmas music, making cookies, and watching Christmas movies. Then they're packed back up until after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteCrazy, I know. But I just don't want to give glory to this holiday.
Thanks for stopping by.
God bless,
Brenda
I think there are more people who don't celebrate Halloween than you would think, I know it isn't a holiday that I celebrate. Nothing wrong with those who do, it just isn't my cup of tea. I love the pocket prayer book and pocelain doll:>) Can't wait for your next isswue of Porch!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your sweet words on my blog about my Romantic Homes feature. I am so excited to share it with all of you. Enjoy it my friend.

We don't do Halloween either. We spent a nice quiet evening at home, and today we bought lots of candy 50% off. =)
