Heirlooms
2nd post today - Because I found my way quite accidentally to a blog that was giving away the new Amy Grant book, Mosiacs. It reminded me of Christmas because her Christmas album is the one that I associate with the holidays because mom played it over and over and now I play it over and over. My sister sang this song one year at our family gathering. She was probably about 9 at the time. Try not to cry if you can =) This is it - my feelings, my heart. And Christmas is just around the corner. What heirlooms will fill your house this year?

Hi again today! I did find one site in my wanderings that is not doing a draw until Oct. 26th. It's here

Good Luck!
Christmas is the best! We actually have some items from when DH and I were little...a santa mug from him..and beautifully crossstiched ornaments from my step mom..she made one every year for my sister and I. I don't cross stitch, but I try and get a special ornament that commemorates the year for each one...
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit and well wishes.. I think we are on the mends now! Hugs!
Nope! I cried. Go figure...
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful. I love to see Christ depicted as smiling. So often you don't see that.
I'm sure that you can tell already but Christmas is my favorite time of the year. So many memories. I know how blessed I am to have the childhood I did. I hope that my children look back and are able to say the same thing.
Love you Polly!

I've always loved ALL of Amy's songs and I had the pleasure of fitting her with eyeglasses about 21 years ago (wow time flies) when I worked in Nashville at Lenscrafters. She paid for her girlfriend's glasses that day.
ReplyDeleteI wanna get into that attic in the video, don't you?!!
Hey, did you hear back from Magnolia Pearl?
