Granted!

Part One of today's two part post:

If I could bob my ponytailed head and change a few things in life, believe me, I would! Amy, your cancer would be at the top of my list! While there's nothing inspiring in feeling wretched, it's often wretched circumstances that inspire huge movements. You've taken us along on a journey that has changed many of us. Your words and pictures have given others strength who are also feeling beaten by this disease. But more than anything, you've been a vessel through which God has spoken.

Don't entertain the thought that perhaps this journey has been without purpose. You KNOW that there's a purpose for everything. Don't listen to the little lies Satan likes to overwhelm us with!
My ponytailed head hasn't been able to grant even one wish, but there is power in a humbly bowed head. Today I'm praying that God will deepen your relationship with Him, that as you're healing He will fill you to overflowing with Himself, that you'll have one idea after another of His purpose behind this journey and He'll bring the opportunities to you to share those things. Blessings to you, Amy, because you've been a blessing... (Thank you to Joy and Mary for requesting that we all join in supporting Amy today!)

  2. Polly,
I just flipped over to her blog and read her amazing story. She has faith and she will get through this. I left her a note but I wanted to do the same for you. I will be praying and you are kind, gentle and sweet soul for posting about her struggle.

    Love,
    Julie
