All Tied Up

Happy almost weekend!
I'm sorry that I haven't been around lately.  Our days have been pretty tied up with the cycle of market events (get stuff ready, pack stuff, haul stuff, set-up stuff, sell stuff, tear down stuff, drive less stuff home, get more stuff ready).  It's a little bit of a crazy schedule sometimes.  But when I'm in the middle of it, I don't mind so much.  How can a person complain when she is surrounded by pretty and inspiring stuff?!

The truth is though, I'm a homebody.  I love being home.  It was dreamy taking last week off,  spending time in this old farmhouse with my family.  And air conditioning!
I "foofed" a little in my studio, getting ready for Where Blogger's Create this weekend.
Check back Saturday to see my studio and so many other gorgeous spaces.

Just before that glorious week off, I even got to attend my son's championship football games!  While I was at the games, Mr. Blessing was setting up at the Kane County Flea Market.  I joined him after the games but can you believe what a great job he did setting up by himself?!

This weekend we are back in the proverbial saddle.  We will be at the Three French Hens Market with some new handmade items, lots of kids and, undoubtedly, some seriously hot weather too.
Ahhh... This is the life.

  3. Polly--I'm so impressed with "Ryan's" set up at Kane County. Wow! Also, a note to your friend Donna O'Shaughnessy above...you should consider selling your soaps at our Vintage Market in September. Polly is hosting the 2nd market this year, just north of Rockford in Roscoe, IL. Sept. 7 & 8th...there's a Fall Festival event going on in town the same weekend...so drop the hubby and kids at the festival and head over to the Vintage Market.
