Michigan Market

We had an amazing market event in Michigan this weekend!
My parents took the kids on a little vacation up in Door County for the last week so when Steve and I had a spur of the moment opportunity to try out a market in Michigan, it was perfect timing.  It was 98 bazillion degrees in the shade and 3 and half thousand hours in the car but we sold everything in this photo!  And we got a night in a hotel without kids.
It nearly broke my heart to sell this tattered lamp.  I so wanted to keep it!

Then today we did some "fluffing" at the shop...
(sorry for the bad photo - took this one with my phone)
You can check out a few other pics from the shop on our facebook page HERE.
We are taking it easy tonight and anxious to see our kids tomorrow!!  It's a wonderful thing to get a break from the everyday but, goodness, I miss those sweet bundles of energy.
Hope you had a super lovely weekend with family and friends!

  1. Polly,
So happy that you and Steve did so well. Not a surprise you have amazing stuff.Still need to get out to your shop.I have been up to my eyeballs in projects. And have decided to take the plunge and start selling at the Woodstock antique mall across from the gilded junqueyard.I am planning on doing a girls day with my daughter in a week or two. Can't wait to see what you have there.
