Ok, now before you fall over from the gorgeousness of it all, you should know that the Na-Da sale really was in a barn and it really had great prices and you're going to want to be there for the next one!

Just as gorgeous
My cinnamon rolls never... ever... look this yummy!
Do you ever wonder how these inspiring ideas hit?
I've saved some great pictures of the sale for our next issue of PORCH Magazine (hopefully it'll be ready to purchase in a week or so. I'll announce it here and on the PORCH blog). But if you'd like to see more, head over to Na-Da Farmlife, or Parisienne Farmgirl or Sanctuary Art and take a look at their pics.

Anne Marie's Hay House
I meant to show you these pictures a couple days ago but the week got away from me! Look at this cool old table that we saw at Pec Thing last weekend. I really wanted to sand it down to the naked wood and give it a weathered, aged look. If it weren't for that crazy gorgeous Victorian cornice I got and the upcoming Na-Da Farm sale, I would have been in mourning that I lost this one.
Except that this weekend was the
Mr. Blessing gave me a belated Mother's Day Gift!
Here's a bit of vintage white from the Pec Thing...

I'm testing the waters...
It all started a little more than a week ago when we ventured out to our historic neighborhood sales. I look forward to it every year. Alley after alley of vintage garages & carriage houses filled with treasures.
If you have followed my blog for very long, you may have noticed that I take a picture from this same spot every year. It's my favorite of all the stops.
We had lunch just outside of a hugenormous (that'a word, right?!) Victorian house. Every window is done in yummy lace.
After lunch we all seemed to tire out so we called it a day and went home to rest.
Ending with my youngest being in the hospital.
A couple weeks ago I found this super cool, rusty, old lawn chair at our local salvage shop. It's heavy like you would not believe but for $5 I just couldn't leave it sitting there among all the old desks and partitions. It needed to be in its own environment.
And I love the weathered arms!
