Homeschooling & Puppies
Like many homeschooling families, we are always looking for learning opportunities for our kids. The homeschooling community where we live is actually quite large so we have lots of co-ops and field trips that are available to us. But when we first stared out, I was lost. I did a great deal of researching online, attempting to find free materials. With the help of friends from church and other bloggers, I complied lots of helpful websites that span every subject and every grade level. I've had lots of new links lately so I thought I'd share them with you.

Hopscotch

This morning I woke to leaves playing hopscotch.
I love the sound they make when the wind scoops them up and they drag their heels across the driveway.
I'm in the mood to decorate for Autumn!

My computer has been moody lately!
And I have been busy with lots of projects and have some fun things to share with you but I'm going to make this a quick post as I may lose it all any moment now.
For now, just a few random shots from around the house while I experiment to see if Miss Moody is accepting pictures today.

Wearing Size Regular
Why don't they make aprons to be flattering on regular sized gals?
I think it would be so fun to wear an apron over blue jeans but I always feel like an upside down tulip. Except the tulip has a skinny little stem!
But I'm thinking about wearing them in spite of it all.

Let's twirl, dance & sing when He fills us with joy! Let's wear aprons over our jeans and bloomers under our denim skirts. Let's paint and write and be unique - not just in our blog life but in our real lives. Not putting aside gentleness and modesty and a quite life, let's put aside silly inhibitions that keep us from the joy God intends for us to have.

Thought you might like to see how our little piddlers are coming along. They are 4 weeks old now. They don't venture outside of the box yet unless, of course, you count the bazillion times each day that the kids want to hold a puppy, play with a puppy, pet a puppy... Hope your Thursday is as delightful as a box of puppies.
