Airing the Laundry

Have I told you that I'm really not a very social person? Last Sunday night (a week ago) as we were crawling into bed, my husband said to me, "I looked at the calendar... You're gonna hate this week." He knows that I'm a homebody. And we had one function after another every single day last week. Ya know, by jig, at the end of each one of them during the car ride home, I commented about how much fun I had... How I was glad to have gone afterall. Surprising, isn't it? How God knows what new and different things will refresh us.

Having said that... please pray with me as this week brings lots of refreshment =) I know, I've been Miss Suspense lately but I promise I'll air the laundry in the next few days.
By the way, did you see that Mr. Blessing got an award from Jillian's Pages for his post? Thank you, Jillian. While most guys might think our blog awards are silly, Steve actually checked your site often in anticipation =)

  1. I know what you mean Polly, I am a stay at home kind of girl, not given to small talk most of the time, but I am often pleasantly surprised by how fun an evening out that I didnt look forward to can be. Now you kow the suspense is killing us with these hints and teasers! How long will you keep us waiting?:>)

So glad you took the opportunity to receive your Lemonade award...and also glad you had the chance to enjoy warmer weather. We did too.

Thank you for all of your blessings and reminding us we do have many.

  3. I am exactly the same as you: hate going out and socializing but hubs is a party animal, chick! So we compromise and only go out once in a while to fulfill certain obligations but if I had something every night in one week I'd freak. True.....

I am not very social either...actually some people think I am way too much of a hermit...which I probably am. There is no place like home though ;). But you are so right about getting out...often times after I do, I am so glad I did!
