Putting Pencil to Paper

So what if it's 80 degrees outside - We're setting up for Christmas! Our contributing bloggers have all been putting lots of thought and time and work into their articles. Personally, I've been digging around in boxes of old ornaments, decorating here and there... The kids are going to be so sick of Christmas by the time Halloween rolls around that they won't mind if I don't do much Fall decor.

The Thriftyville issue was full of photos taken over the course of many years - way before a blog or a magazine were a thought in my curly redhead. And it was great practice! This issue is going to be full of crisp, beautiful photos and articles provided by our very own blog neighbors. We're shooting for availability around the first of November. Maybe before if I can get everything done on time. I've decided that I need a secretary! Odd how nobody wants an over-worked and non-paying position. =)

(p.s. Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers, kind comments and emails. Today (thursday) is the funeral. We're all doing ok. Praising God for a big, close-knit family!)
