I can hardly breathe I'm so excited! Tell me it's not a dream.
Yep - it's a real live Magnolia Pearl! You KNOW how my heart has longed for one. I was so thrilled to meet Elizabeth through ebay and discover that she not only has a collection of Robin's bags, but she is also a good friend of Robins (she's in the Marburger set-up video). Elizabeth was kind enough to let me make payments for one of the first bags that Robin had made for her. 
And to celebrate, I made a wallet from some old needlepoint (the tattered, vinyl cartoon one just wasn't going to cut it).
In fact, I was so excited that I made a couple for our Friday Flea Market too. Don't you think the cameo looks a bit like Miss Pearl? ReplyDeleteWhy didn't you run over and tell me? I am so happy for you!!! Congratulations! You are the only other person I know that has one and it's lovely and more. I worked a job I didn't much care for to be able to purchase mine (so that is my fond memory of having that job, something beautiful did come out of it!). I had wanted one for years too - it's a decoration in itself - mine's hanging on my mirror in the bedroom when I don't use it, where is yours?
