Dwelling

Feels like home. On Monday it will already be a year. One year and just this side of 400 posts since I moved into the blog neighborhood. As I write, dusk is settling in on only the second warm day this Spring. The kids are running in with their dirty paws wanting a snack before they get ready for bed. Neighbor Bob is burning something in his new chiminea. The scent is sneaking in my kitchen window. Smells like home.

Wallpaper and paint. Photos and banners. Family and neighbors. Laughing, crying and pulling weeds. Prayers & miracles. A picket fence... Yep, feels like home here.

  2. There is a commandment about to be broken here as I look in envy of that green.
In fairness my front lawn is green again, but the back has a few too many empty spaces and needs a bit of man type work to air the soil and put some more seed and fertilizer around.
But just love that big tree and the lovely green lawn..........oh and of course the blog..........vbg.

  4. What a sweet "cottage" you have! And the old growth trees and lushness makes me envious for something other than a new development we moved into 3 years ago! Lovely, sweet chick, just lovely.
