Don't be surprised if you spy one or two of these at the Friday Flea Market. Of course, you know already that I'm SOOOO keeping those big ol' spools of lace! =)
And there were even two packages in the mail! Shabby In The City sent me this. All my favorite things and some blank tags so I can craft myself silly. You have to stop over not just for her fabulous flea goodies but because she HAD A DREAM that you'll love! Phyllis, you're such a delightful friend - not because of the little gift but because you're a gift!
And all this lusciousness is from The Antique Paperie (if you haven't bookmarked it yet, she changed her blog name to The Antique Cafe). Every little morsel of her scrumptious packages is so beautiful I want to cry. I spent my evening last night giggling and being teary-eyed! My husband asked me, "So how do you know her and what's she like?" and I said, "She's like all the good parts of every friend I ever had."
Haven't you made some amazing friends during this blogging adventure?!! You are all so fun. I love getting to know each of you. I wish I had more time in the days for chatting and emailing.
Well, I have orders to ship and I'm suddenly feeling inspired to do them up all lovely. If I can get any cleaning done, tomorrow I'll show you a little bit of my nest.
Hi Sis! I love the Hot Pink Feathery hat! I have seen so many gorgeous antique hats and I never stop to buy them, but I think I will start! The Spools of lace are fabulous, and so is the story of your mom and dad.
ReplyDeleteOne of the definitions for the word Treasure means: To hold dear, a Prize, a Collection of precious things. You are all 3 to me. A glittery treasure, who is precious, because you are YOU. In the words of Maya Angelou: "Life is a gift, and I try to respond with grace and dignity". Your post just made my day!
You are a dear friend sis - xo Sher
