In The English Patient... He says, “A thing is a thing, no matter what you put in front of it. Big car, slow car, chauffeur-driven car, is still a car." She says, “Love? Romantic love, platonic love, filial love, quite different!"
Do you remember the scene in City of Angels when Seth asks Maggie to describe a pear? She says, "You don't know what a pear tastes like?" And he says, "I don't know what a pear tastes like to you." He tells her to "describe it like Hemmingway".
Be descriptively romantic today!
