Have you ever gone to the market to get milk and come home with bags and bags of groceries? Yesterday was one of those days. Steve and I and the two little ones decided to pop into the flea market in the afternoon. We'd been cooped up all weekend as my daughter wasn't feeling all the way over her sniffles and it's just sooo bitter cold here. We split up so that I could savor my treasure hunt without nagging children. Steve's so sweet to let me have my junking time! Though I saw a thousand things I wanted, I passed on most of it because Steve has been saving so that he can buy a particular work-out machine. I purposed my trip solely on old buttons and little trinkets. Really, I went for buttons...
And we came home with this!!!!!
(p.s. Though the obvious name for him would be Buttons, he has been dubbed Sugar because our other dog is Latte.) (p.p.s -or is it p.s.s.?- A Valentines gift from Steve... The workout machine was a ruse.)
HOW CUTE IS BUTTONS!!!!!!!!! Polly, he is precious!!! Love his name, too! What kind of a dog is Buttons? He looks like a little westie. Steve is a sweetheart!

The puppy is just darling! Sometimes I long for one who will fit in my lap...most times I am content with Beau, the doofus dog. But a puppy in the lap, with that sweet, distinct, puppy breath smell...well, there's nothing that compares. Unless we're talkin' real, human, baby smells!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the fabric on your hubby's bible chair!
Oh Polly, what a sweetie your hubby is! I love Sugar :) You lucky girl!
