Make Up Work

He slept until noon. Our old house has the creekiest stairs so I could tell that he was coming down quickly. I had snuck in the bedroom this morning while he was sleeping, touched the hair above his ear and whispered that I was sorry. I didn't want to wake him - I thought it could wait until later. I was working on those silly curtains that I've been trying to get done since last Winter. He walked right through the kitchen and directly to the dinning room (like you do when you see one of your kids is just about to wack the baby with a tonka truck). He grabbed me so quickly that it startled me, even though I'd seen him rushing over. He put his face in my neck and said, "I'm sorry I yelled at you." Of course, I couldn't let him believe he was wrong (and I did say as much) but let's stop the story here. I like this ending. =)

  4. OOH Goody! I love a happy ending. And how wonderful that he accepted part of the blame. You gotta love that in a man!

What is the name of the song playing in the background? I love it. I know it. Can't think of the name. Neither can my mother or father. So pretty!

    Love,
