I took to the couch yesterday and didn't do a lick of anything the entire day. Well, I played on the laptop (You know how I can't do nothing). And while I was doing nothing/playing on the laptop, I came across the most wonderful site, Ewa I Walla. Here's their catalog if you'd like to peek. It's all so lovely, you have to go see.
P.S. Thank you for your prayers for my sister. She is still in the hospital and is recovering but having some trouble with nausea still so they will be keeping her until she's able to eat a meal without any trouble.
...oh thank you for this link! Everything is absolutely lovely, ther isn't one thing that I would not want to wear!! Her style reminds me of one of my favorites: http://www.robinkaplandesign.com/

Oh my goodness I'm in love. Such a cool site, thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad your sister is improving so much. I know that nausea is the pits...

Thanks for sharing such a great site! Carla
ReplyDeleteI love Ewa I Walla clothing. It is too young for me, so I'd love to see my daughter in some of their beautiful clothing.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in highschool I uesed to layer skits...this was in the 80's cause I was trying to get a vintage, gypsy, milk-maid look going. My look in winter usually involved vintage wool underwear, or men's long johns, and granny boots or anything I had that looked like granny boots. And of course, I was always wrinkled. So ofcourse I love these fashions, but I bet mine was cheaper.
ReplyDeleteHope your sister is okay...
I hope your sister keeps getting better! I won't even venture to that site even though I am in love with that dress. I know I won't be able to afford it but I am inspired by its simple beauty.
ReplyDeleteOh to be young enough to get away with wearing something like that. I love it

ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteGlad to have found your blog, I like your style. I came over from Gypsy, she said she was selling some of your things at RT. I will be going also but not to sell. I might have misunderstood but are you in IL?
I have a shop here in IL, so got excited that maybe you were here instead of Tx :) Seems like most of my blogging friends are in TX
Blessings
Rebecca
Just wanted to add that I love Ewa I Walla, too! And I wanted to say to those of you who might feel that they are not "young" enough for Ewa that age ain't nothin' but a number! :) I am what someone might call "middle aged" and also felt that some of Ewa might be too young for me. And then I went to one of her stores in Stockholm, Sweden where the woman running the boutique who was in her fifties was decked head to toe in Ewa and looked fabulous! And just look at the designer herself - also older, also looking fabulous! So, don't let your desires be limited by that number - that's what being your individual and unique self is all about!
ReplyDeleteHi everybody!
