I wear mine on the plane to work in First Class...most have a little vintage flair to my service. I have always worn them to cook, just like Momma does. I had so many compliments...it was fun! And as for modesty, I am all for it. I truly get embarrassed at what I see some ladies ?? wearing out in public. There was one gal in the grocery store the other day that I just wanted to run over and cover her up. About the church pew on the Vintage Journal blog. I thought exactly as you that the architectural interest on the side looked exactly like a church window. :). Funny thing is I have an old cast iron gate hanging in the entry way too that looks like a church window. :) Have a great week. Maybe someone up there is trying to tell me something. ;0Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6737653296388602253.post-57321533613649959472009-09-12T20:43:24.244-05:002009-09-12T20:43:24.244-05:00I have found that with age comes an understanding ...I have found that with age comes an understanding that even though life isn't always perfect we really only get one chance to live it. I'm almost 70 and am very modest. (In my church they stress that.) But I took don't give a whit what others might think as long as I am pleasing before the Lord. Uuuuuh, I must admit that I have a long way to go to perfection, but I am at least on the way. Wear an apron! I do when I cook but mostly when I'm practicing my rose painting. I don't care if I look frumpy. At least I look "cute" to hubs!!!!
xoxo,
ConnieConniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07836857167023454619noreply@blogger.com
