Influenza stuck the kids last week. With one in the hospital and another home with pneumonia, I didn't get much done but for mothering and holding their little hands.
Puttering is about all you can do in between the "Mama, come sit with me" moments.
If you are waiting on an order, I will be shipping the last of the holiday orders out this week.
I hung a few sleigh bells as I puttered, trying to get the kids in the Christmas mood even though they had to miss their holiday programs and some family gatherings.
Everyone is home now and slowly on the mend. We are enjoying fir scented candles, log fires, twinkling Christmas lights and sweet Hallmark movies.
So sorry to hear of the illness. My entire house had a very bad case of the flu last year for the entire month of December, including Christmas. Certainly not the time of year you want to be sick! Here's to healing for all and a blessed and happy Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that your kids have been sick. We have had some of it here but not as bad as you got hit. You keep right on puttering because you putter beautifully! xo Diana

I'm so Relieved to hear that your little ones are on the mend. The G-Kid Force have also been struggling with some significant Health Issues this Winter so I know only too well how consuming and nerve wracking it can be when Children are significantly ill... and especially around a busy Season. Be sure as the Caregiver to make certain you don't neglect yourself. May your Christmas find you Receiving Healing Energies... Good Health is after all one of the Greatest Gifts.
