While the logical thing to post about for White Wednesday this week would be the BLIZZARD outside my window, I'm taking a crafting day so I thought I'd show you some of the little projects. I can only handle going so long without creating so a few snow days is just what I need! I want to make myself a new handbag but I thought I'd do some warm-up crafting first... crafting calisthenics.
I picked up a bunch of these metal stars at the dollar store a couple months ago and they have been calling out for a good re-do. They were covered with snowmen and santas so I had to do a couple coats of hammered metal spray paint before adding the pretty stuff but it was a fun stretching exercise (and the stars are finally off my dinning room table!). I think I'm going to hang some in the studio from the ceiling.
Hope your White Wednesday is filled with blessings and delightful moments of crafting calisthenics!
I just love love them !

ReplyDeleteHappy White Wednesday Polly. Your blog is such an inspiration! I have been thinking about all you bloggers up there in Chicago land. My son said when he woke up this morning and looked outside his words were "holy toledo". He's sending me pictures soon of their yard. You and family stay warm and safe. Some time ago you had a blog post about using crinkled up brown craft paper as a "curtain". I was wondering if you could send me a link. xoxo Lynn
