Last Autumn I begrudgingly said goodbye to Summer. It had been such a lovely Summer that I hated to see it go. This Autumn, I can't stop marveling at the colors and the subtle nuances, casting of shadows, an ever so different scent on the wind. Walking out to my back porch is dreamy. I'm reluctant to get out the heavy curtains that play guard against the chill in this old farmhouse. I catch myself starring out the windows, rubbing my arms and thinking, "One more day".
It's a good day for projects... by the window!
Lovely! I am feeling the same way! I just love it!

ReplyDeleteHi Polly,
ReplyDeleteBetween the lovely windows and the servants quarters I am quite convinced that your farmhouse is one of the coziest places in the whole wide world. You have such a sweet way of inspiring people through your romantic pictures and delicate words...and I am so grateful for you.
