Seasons of Lovliness

I think sometimes that we've given drab names to God's lovliness. Wouldn't it be more fitting to call Fall - Season of Color?

And Winter - Season of Sparkle?

  1. I agree!!
and especially with winter being called the Season of Sparkle.
I have the hardest time with winter so I am constantly trying to find the positives of it and one thing for sure its so beautiful after a snow storm and all the glistening sparkle of the snow is so wonderful.
We need to appreciate more the beauty of things and not focus on the negatives.

  3. My grandaughter- an artist with sales herself- at age 11 told me in despair, "Our art teacher wants us to paint a Fall picture, you know like pumpkins and stuff...sigh, I think I will paint, Summer Leaving."
Just think of the play of words, and the beauty of it.
    Blessings,

  9. Ooh, sounds lovely to me. Especially the sparkle part and that cloche with all that glitters is really lovely.

Fall (I mean the Season of Color!) is my favorite time of year and I am so looking forward to some crisp weather.

    Happy evening,

  13. Hi Polly,
Sounds good to me and just thought I should come by and say HI. It's been a little hectic at my house and should settle down soon.
    The blessings are adding up.
    Warmly, Deb :)

Say I was trying to get the widget for the FFM...and the URL part of the widget doesn't seem to be working...says it was taken down. I'm sure I must somehow be doing something wrong...because I can't get your email to open properly here either. So sorry for leaving all this here...but I didn't know how else to contact you. Thanks.
