I'm dawdling... musing... It's a day dreamy afternoon. I have a zillion projects waiting, rooms that could stand cleaning, an article to write (but no inspiring starting point), school lessons to be planned, a grocery list as long as my arm... And yet here I sit all foggy brained, which is worse than twirly.
I'd like to tell you about the time my husband and I got stranded on an island overnight but I just don't have the concentration. I'm wondering...
I'd like to tell you about the time my husband and I got stranded on an island overnight but I just don't have the concentration. I'm wondering...
Does everyone have a beautiful voice in the shower or is it just me?
Why does my daughter call me "mama" when all the boys say "mom"?
Why does peanutbutter cookie dough not work well with cookie cutters?
If saline is salty how can saline nasal mist be hydrating?
When hubby-darling goes to the market for me, why must he call every 3 minutes?
Do you see my dilema? Not even one interesting thought in my head!! And yesterday I boasted of such fantastic Valentines fun... Tomorrow I promise I shall tell you all about the island. For now it's back to lint and other such amusements.
Girl! I know exactly how you feel!!LOL!

LOL! Polly, my favorite was, the husband in the grocery store thing! I know that even though we have been married for 29 years and have always used Crest, when my husband goes to the store he calls to ask what kind of tooth paste to buy-lol.

Whoo Hoo Girlie your blog is a real treat! I've LOVED visiting you today - FUN FUN FUN and I promise you this last post was ALL ME - My daughter calls me Mama and my boys say Mom - and I have channeled some choice sailor's language when trying to use my beloved Angel cookie cutter on sticky Peanut Butter dough....My husband calls me every 2 seconds when out shopping for me - Hey, are we Sisters? Anyway sweets I will be back & I am adding you to my faves tonight!

Haha about the shower voice!!! You funny girl. Wonder if I HAD a daughter what she would call me..."hey you! I need some more shoes!"
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna go see who antique paperie is...
Even lint can be fun sometimes! My grown, adult nephews save dryer lint all year long and then make each other lint gifts for Christmas! It started as a gag gift 20 odd years ago and now it's become a tradition to see who can out do the others!! They're a creative lot! *lol* See...even lint can be fun and interesting!
