Speaking of sick... (Mitch is ok - whew) but my 9 year old had a migraine last night so we slept (if that's what you call it) downstairs. I forgot how much I love HGTV! Simply Quilts was showing how to do scrapbook quilting. I've said before that I'm not a scrapbooker but this was interesting. My question is this: Once you've made the quilt block, what do you do with it? I suppose you could do several and make a wall hanging. The gal on show made a book out of them. Hmmm...
I probably had scrapbooks on the brain before falling asleep because I had been looking over Averyl's Attic yesterday afternoon. Originally, I just planned on showing you her free artwork that can be used on your blog, website, wherever (check out the rosy-shoe link on the sidebar). She has a TON of great vintage graphics for purchase also. But as I wandered through her many, many website pages and links, I was so intriqued to find that she has all this information about Victorian living! Receipes, Hair Care, cool stuff. I just had to put her in our Lovely Award spot! Definitely take some time to meander - you'll enjoy it!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear that Mitch is better. But, hoowah! Migraines are awful. I know! Give your little one a hug and say it's from me.
