2nd post... (I know, like the 1st one wasn't lengthy enough!) Remember how I said that Fall colors just don't go with my decorating scheme... Well, I forgot that I have a whole wall in the living room that's terra cotta (the fancy name for burnt orange!!!) Do you think it'd be ok if I just do fall decorations on that side of the room? =) And I've decided that Autumn is a far more romantic word than Fall!
Couldn't I just fill some pretty bowls with acorns and call it done? Joshing, of course! The kids are very excited that tomorrow they get to paint all the acorns & pinecones we gathered today. And just for the record, it' a steamy 90-something degrees outside... It's difficult to get in the mood for changing leaves when I'm still watching kidlets do "cannonballs" in the pool.
Until the 'morrow...
